To protect your account, Intuit Practice Management does not allows some file types that pose a security threat. This affects both email attachments and files added to recent documents.

The following file formats are NOT allowed by Intuit Practice Management:

.cab .chm .mat .pl .url .xll .html

Intuit Practice Management also blocks any files that are not allowed by <a href="https://support.office.com/en-us/article/blocked-attachments-in-outlook-434752e1-02d3-4e90-9124-8b81e49a8519" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Outlook</a> and <a href="https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6590?hl=en" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Gmail</a>.

Intuit Practice Management powered by Karbon allows all file types except for a select backlist that pose a security threat.
