Because you log into Intuit Practice Management powered by Karbon through your email provider, there are a few things you need to consider from a security point of view. when you access the app from a shared workspace such as a client computer.
When you log into Intuit Practice Management (or any other application that connects with your email provider), you are logging into Office 365 or Google in the background first.
When you choose to log out of Intuit Practice Management from the main menu, you will not be logged out of your email provider.
To ensure that you do not leave your email account logged in on a shared computer, you must explicitly choose to log out of your email account separately. You can do this by navigating to Gmail of Office 365.
To avoid any issues that may result from forgetting to log out of your email provider, we strongly recommend using an incognito or private window of the internet browser when you access Intuit Practice Management on a shared workspace.
If you have recently logged into Intuit Practice Management on a shared workspace, and did not logout of your email or use an incognito window, you should change your password to ensure that your account can not be accessed by anyone else.

Google offers a recently Used Devices page that shows you where specific devices have accessed your account. This page is available from the Sign-in & Security account section in your Google account settings page.
You’ll see a list of recently used devices along with their locations—associated with their IP addresses—and when they were actively using your account. If you see one you don’t recognize, click the “Secure Your Account” button at the top of the page.

Microsoft's recent activity page shows information about when and where you've used your Office 365 account within the last 30 days. This includes any time that you signed in to your account, whether you used a web browser, your phone, an email app, a third-party app, or another method.
