You can view what your colleagues are working on by applying the work filter: Colleagues Involved, in Work.

When you apply this filter, it will show the work items that the colleagues you've selected are involved in. 

This will include anyone on the work team (assigned tasks, emails and notes related to the work or assigned the work itself).
